Refreshing a claim resets any fields you've made changes to, copies current information into each field, and runs claim rules again. For example, if you change the patient's address after a claim has been created, you can refresh the claim to automatically fill in the current address.
NOTE: If you've made a change directly on the claim form, refreshing the claim will cause you to lose those changes.
1. Open the claim you want to refresh. 2. In the upper right, click the Refresh button.
NOTE: You can only refresh a claim in the Reviewing, Rejected, Not Paid, or Paid statuses.
3. Select the sections of the claim you want to refresh, and click the Refresh Claim button.
The claim's fields will be updated and its status will be changed to Reviewing.
