Permissions: You need the Admin permission to reset a portal user's password.
If a portal user is having trouble logging in to their account, resetting their password will send an email to help them log in. To reset a portal user's password:
- Go to Admin → Advanced Setup → Portal Users.
- To the right of the portal user, click the Reset Password icon

- Click the Reset Password button.
Another Option: A portal user can reset their own password by clicking the Forgot Password button on the portal's login page.
