Are email reminders still free?
Yes, email appointment reminders are still free!
Can I turn off text message reminders?
You can turn off these SMS/Text reminders in Clinic Options under the General Settings.

Are any additional SMS features or enhancements planned?
We are currently working on SMS messaging enhancements some of which will begin to roll out toward the end of this year. These enhancements will eventually include customization of messages, and potentially the number of reminders, and timing by appointment or service types. We are also exploring future enhancements to the ability to respond to these messages for functions such as confirming or requesting the rescheduling of an upcoming appointment.
Can I have it on for specific people?
You can select these reminders for specific patients. Be sure to check out our Knowledge Base article, Patients, to learn more.
Can I turn them off for a short period of time?
These can be turned on or off at the clinic level, see Clinic Options for more information. They can also be adjusted on the individual patient level, see Patients for more information. The reminders will need to be manually toggled on and off.
Why are you now charging for these?
Over the years, our costs to provide the service and features you have come to expect have increased significantly. It has been many years since our pricing structure has been adjusted and we have worked to keep our rates unchanged for loyal customers like you. Unfortunately, time, supplier costs, and inflation have caught up with us, and we have to standardize pricing across our customer base. We are also taking this opportunity to simplify our solutions. This will allow us to continue providing excellent products and services, as we invest in new functionality and improvements to the existing platform.
